Quality Auditor I/Document Control
Overview ***This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP*** Under supervision of the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Auditor I is responsible for performance monitoring of program functional areas. Quality Auditors perform audits and inspections utilizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Plans, Work Instructions and other documented process documentation to ensure compliance and continuous improvement of processes. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data and recommending courses of action to improve performance or resolve problems, and mentoring employees, supervisors and management staff in quality management principles, theories, tools, and systems. Ensures quality systems comply with the Quality Control Plan (QCP), Quality Management System (QMS) and/or Statement of Work (SOW). (Ref: ISO 9001-2015) The Quality Auditor I will also perform functions as a Document Control Specialist, responsible for maintaining program Quality Management System (QMS) documents to meet the Performance Work Statement (PWS), International Organization of Standardization (ISO), V2X and US Government standards, directives, and requirements. Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. Monitors subcontractor (s) provided services for compliance with SOW and QCP. Monitors functional area (s) internal inspection programs, QC checks, Quality at the Source. Prepares audit reports and documents results in V2X VARMS application. Assists in root cause analysis (RCA) and development of corrective/risk mitigation action plans as required; performs follow up audits to determine completeness and effectiveness of corrective/risk mitigation actions. Prepares Document Control plans, including strategy, innovations, outlines, and detailed schedules that explains the tasks required to accomplish milestones and complete events according to the requirements and answering the customer’s needs IAW the guidelines established by V2X (PAAS). Edits, and Prepares drafts of LCV documentation resolving questions with originating authors. Arranges documents in prescribed format. Ensures comprehensive reviews of written material IAW good business practices, and both Company and Program policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Experience: One (1) to three (3) years quality assurance experience. Candidate must also be able to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Qualifications/Experience Requirements: Associated degree or equivalent. Minimum three years’ experience. ISO 9001:2015 Auditor certificate (or the ability to obtain). Must have valid Passport and a valid driver’s license. Must be able to read/write and speak English. Skills: Strong organizational skills. Must have the ability to multi-task in a up-tempo working environment. Must have basic knowledge of FAR, ISO 9001:2015 & DoD regulations. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Office Tools. Understanding of basic/routine office procedures, including filing, record management and archiving documentation is also required. Has expertise in writing SOP'S, Plans, Work Instructions, Project Orders and developing process maps. Ability to work with very diverse workforce. Excellent communicator both in writing and verbally. Working Conditions: Must be capable of working in an extreme weather condition with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well. Physical Requirements: Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work. Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
