We are looking for a Quality Auditor for the Quality department at Sartorius Stedim BioOutsource. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the quality department, maintaining and updating the QMS, providing guidance for the operational team, ensuring compliance to GLP/GMP, carrying out self - inspections and audits of study plans, activities, process and facilities.

This position is available for full – time on a permanent basis with a salary of up to £26,000 per annum depending on skills and experience. This is an onsite position at our Glasgow site in West Scotland Science Park.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
On a daily basis you will maintain a GLP/GMP compliant Quality management System (staff training, personal files, change management, deviation trending/tracking CAPAs, equipment paperwork, certificate of analysis etc.)
Draft and review Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs), reviewing protocols and final reports
Work closely with the operational team to resolve deviations and incidents, change controls
Follow through on CAPAs (corrective and preventative actions) from deviations and audit observations
You will perform self-inspections and audits
You will conduct audit and in life inspections of studies and processes and host inspections conducted by customers
You will provide technical assistance and training to Quality and Operations team members to ensure compliance with the principles of GLP/GMP
Address any issues of non – compliance and ensure quality is an integral part of all processes and procedures
Maintain the database for investigations, audit observations and CAPAs
What will convince us
You may have a Higher of Scientific discipline or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant life science discipline
Previous laboratory experience in a GLP/GMP environment would be beneficial though full training will be provided
Keen interest working in the quality department
Good communication and written skills and the ability to interact with other departments
Excellent skills in Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel
Good organisational skills with the ability to multi – task, prioritise and manage own workload
