Our client is a leading multinational construction and engineering contractor, headquartered in the USA and operating across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East. With a global workforce of over 9,000 and an annual turnover exceeding €6 billion, they specialise in delivering high-tech projects across key sectors, including data centres, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, photovoltaics, battery plants, and specialty chemicals. They provide a full turnkey service, covering design, construction, and handover, encompassing civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) works, mechanical and electrical (MEP) systems, and commissioning.
The need now exists for an experienced Quality Commissioning Lead who will be managing and overseeing the commissioning process, ensuring that all building systems and equipment meet project specifications, regulatory standards, and operational requirements including coordinating testing, validation, and quality assurance to deliver fully functional projects.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Develop and implement commissioning strategies, schedules, and procedures ensuring all systems are tested, validated, and meet performance criteria.
Work closely with project teams, contractors, consultants, and clients to define commissioning requirements and expectations ensuring clear communication and coordination among all stakeholders during the commissioning process.
Conduct audits ensuring all commissioning activities align with contract specifications and verify system functionality, performance, and integration to meet operational expectations.
Ensure commissioning activities comply with industry standards, project requirements, and best practices.
Identify, track, and resolve non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Maintain detailed commissioning records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Qualification in engineering or relevant commissioning training.
Proven experience in commissioning large-scale construction, data centre, and pharmaceutical projects.
Effective problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in commissioning management software and reporting tools.
