PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Quality Compliance Auditor II works under the general direction of the Senior Manager of Compliance, and/or designee, and is responsible for ensuring that the quality program meets or exceeds the standards required by our customers and Yulista. Responsibility includes but not limited to statistical analysis, procedural development and review, internal and external audits, and corrective actions that impact product, process and/or services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Responsible for the operational success of relatively low to moderately complex projects.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures in preparing, collecting, recording, and maintaining project data.
• Prepare professional correspondence to vendors, and customers as required.
• Supports team leadership in accomplishing their duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to maintain calendar and schedule appointments and/or conference rooms.
• Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations for problem resolution.
• Advanced computer skills; specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs.
• Ability to enter data accurately into databases.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as applicable requirements, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will routinely interact with external stakeholders such as customers, vendors, suppliers, shipping companies, etc.
• Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, scanner, printers, etc.
• Ability to follow a process.
• Professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.
• Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista’s goals.
• High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Experience in civil or military aircraft operations is a plus.
• Ability to identify and develop KPIs. (Key Process Indicators)
• Preferred AS9100 Lead Auditor Certified or Internal Auditor Certified.
• Working knowledge of Root Cause and Corrective Action tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone, etc.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to address quality-related concerns and promote continuous improvement.
• Monitor and analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality control processes and procedures.
• Maintain a comprehensive quality management system compliant with AS9100/AS9110 standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have High School Diploma Graduate or equivalent and 3 years related experience (aviation, manufacturing preferred).
• Must have the ability to pass a drug and background screening.
• Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.
• Must have excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must be familiar with AS9100 & AS9110 quality management system requirements.
• Must possess the knowledge and skills to understand applicable documentation.
• Must have detail-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Must always represent Yulista in a professional manner.
• Must be trustworthy – will handle confidential information routinely.
• Must be able to conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to identify and eliminate process inefficiencies, defects, and non-conformances.
