Description

Staff Management | SMX is hiring for a Quality Control Tech at our client site in Kenosha, WI. The Quality Control Tech will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail.

2nd Shift: 3:30pm - 12:00am - Monday-Friday.

High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and educationOne year forklift operating experience.Experience in receiving, verifying quantities, signing freight bill in a warehouse environment

Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.Accurately count, verify UPC, make product shipping labels, label, and prepare for shipping.Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.Maintains quality and accuracy of inventory by inspecting freight and products for correct quantities and conditions and moving freight manually or with powered equipment.Ensure goals are met for unloading trailers by monitoring unloaders and arrival times.Research product overages, shortages, and discrepancies via physical inspection or system analysis.Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 50 pounds Drug Test Stand for Shift Duration Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $21.50 - $21.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
