HX5 is currently seeking a Quality Control Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform projects audit Document findings in the Authoritative Data Source Work with engineers and project team for finding resolution Track findings to closure Complete audit reports Present audit reports to management Conduct compliance audits to AS9100D Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Work independently on assignments and regularly communicate with the IRES Project team Receive direction, guidance, monitoring, and control of this function from the QA/QC Lead Perform other duties as assignedEducation and Experience:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and two (2) years of general experience; Associate's degree and zero (0) years of general experience; Must have two and a half (2.5) years of experience in quality position. Have ASQ QC certification Have experience with Root Cause Analysis and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis. Have knowledge of Information Technology practices and equipment. Have experience with Root Cause Analysis and Failure Mode Effect Analysis. Lean Six Sigma experience and/or certification. Have a working knowledge of Management Systems, ISO 9001, AS 9100 with practical application experience. Have experience using defect tracking tools (e.g., BMC Remedy, MAXIMO) and engineering tools used to documentphysical systems (e.g., Planet, Bentley, AutoCAD).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements:
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position. Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Must be able to travel, including air travel.Salary: The salary range for this position is $69,500 to $94,500
