WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

RESPONSIBILITIES

Based at our site in Breasclete on the Isle of Lewis, as a Quality Control Analyst your responsibilities will include:

Receipt, analysis, reporting and checking of all QC samples following cGMP proceduresResponsible for accurate collation of analytical data (internal and external); Reporting and checking of data in a timely manner; working to manufacturing, shipping and stability schedules.Raise initial laboratory investigations (ILI) wherever appropriate and notify QC Supervision promptly. Participate in root cause investigations and raise and/or participate in QC related activities to support deviations, change controls and CAPA in allocated time and actively support the resolution of quality issues.Calibration and maintenance of basic labware; inspection and regulation of QC glassware. Dispatch of samples for external analysis as required.

 

WHAT YOU OFFER

QUALIFICATIONS

SCQF Level 9 in Chemistry / Science related subject or minimum 2 years laboratory experience in cGMP environmentWorking knowledge of cGMPKnowledge of Gas chromatography (GC) and High-Performance Liquid chromatography (HPLC) is desirable.WHAT WE OFFER
