Summary of Internship

Internship positions provide an opportunity for engineering and science students to get hands on experience in a manufacturing and quality environment. At our St Louis, Missouri site we are looking for an intern to support trending and analysis of a wide variety of analytical method data.

Essential Functions:

Collaborate with Quality Control personnel to develop an automated or semi-automated system for data entry/trendingDevelop a work instruction to outline requirements for trending analysis for several different analytical method typesProvide significant input to a Standard Operating Procedure capturing a site-wide process for trending analysis.Become familiar with site policies and FDA and EU regulations regarding analysis of the site’s manufactured productsCollaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to perform data entry, statistically analyze data, and assess trendsDevelop templates and systems for ongoing trendingSpecific tasks will be tailored to the intern’s experience level and abilities

Qualifications:

Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited bachelor’s degree in a chemistry, biology, computer science, data analysis, or engineering degreeStrong desire and motivation to develop a career in quality control laboratoriesStrong leadership and team building skillsAbility to work independently and as a member of a multi-functional teamAbility to learn, be mentored, and improveTo qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
