Quality Control Engineer
Job Title: Quality Control Engineer Location: Clarksville, TN (On-Site)   Jostens, the leader in Yearbook and Commercial Printing is looking for qualified Quality Control Engineers to join their Engineering Team! Our Quality Control Engineers are responsible providing guidance and technical expertise for the evaluation and inspection of production materials for accuracy, reproduction quality, and consistency.     This position also facilitates planning and development of quality control systems for products or processes and ensures that they are being designed, manufactured, and produced in accordance with customer specifications and quality requirements.  They monitor, analyze, investigate, and troubleshoot product or production issues, developing corrective actions, solutions and improvements while implementing quality standards.   They will support and partner with supervisors and managers, as well as continuous improvement engineers to drive process improvement and safety goals in all quality areas.   Qualifications:   Required:   BA or Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Statistics/Analysis, or other relevant education or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in Quality Control, Manufacturing, Process Management/Engineering. Direct experience using problem solving tools - variation reduction, A3, PDCA, and similar tools. Direct experience leading continuous improvement teams, kaizens, and impactful projects. Excellent computer skills - Excel, data analysis, and similar tools Strong leadership skills and demonstrated sucess managing a team. Solid written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate across the enterprise Has served as an effective role model, either internally or externally. Results oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.     Preferred:   Experience in “made to order” business/manufacturing.
