Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector (3rd Shift) position at our McKinney, TX location. The effective candidate will work from planning sheets, blueprints, quality control specifications, oral and written instructions, and contractual requirements.
This role will provide a shift differential of 12% for 3rd shift hours worked. (Sun- Thurs from 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
**What You Will Do:**
+ Inspect for final acceptance, all types and series of electronic hardware to determine that rework, modification, and repairs conform to contractual/drawing requirements.
+ Inspect and accept electronic hardware referencing quality control standards, workmanship, and drawing specifications; by checking such items as parts, wires, solder joints, and terminals, using appropriate inspection devices.
+ Inspect and reject for tests or rework or otherwise approves hardware as acceptable.
+ Prepare reports and maintain records as required.
+ Meet necessary certifications as required.
+ Perform incidental related duties as assigned or required.
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Minimum (4) years of experience as a quality inspector or comparable experience or Associates Degree and 2 years of relevant experience
+ Experience using calibrated inspection measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, microscope, and rulers
+ Experience with drawing and blueprint reading
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Experience with hardware returned from the field (Mission Support).
+ Previous experience with Military Specifications (MIL Specs)
+ Experience with FAI, First Article Inspection, AS9102
+ Ability to conduct Audits per a defined Quality Management System
+ Ability to understand and communicate with engineering teams, facilitators, and managers
+ Ability to inspect and use a Manufacturing reporting System to document observations and defects
+ Ability to recognize and enforce compliance to Raytheon Technologies’ policies and procedures
+ Ability to perform quality inspections with minimal mentor oversight
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Team player
+ Computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite
+ Ability to work with a high degree of confidence and efficiency
+ Ability to effectively communicate with management, supervisors, and peers to resolve issues
+ Display a strong personal commitment to successfully complete all projects
+ Demonstrates a high level of initiative (self-starter).

**Onsite** : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 40,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
