Our client, a leading manufacturing company in San Jose, CA, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to enhance their team. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect molded and assembled products throughout the production process.Work from technical drawings and established operating procedures to maintain accuracy.Prepare detailed inspection reports, records, and tags.Conduct audits of production processes to ensure compliance and quality.Collaborate with production personnel to initiate corrective actions when necessary.Interface with customers, vendors, and all levels of management to uphold quality standards.Perform dimensional inspections twice per shift or as required, logging data in electronic Quality Plans.Stamp and tag approved finished products for shipment.Inspect outgoing shipments against specified criteria to ensure conformance.Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping practices in all work areas.

Qualifications:

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Proficiency in using inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges, pin gauges, and thread gauges.Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in a quality assurance role.High school diploma or equivalent.
