**Hiring 2 Quality Control Inspectors in Milpitas, paying up to $40/hr!**
**Job Description**
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all electronic cards, sub-assemblies, and systems meet established specifications for reliability and workmanship. This role involves performing visual inspections, utilizing manufacturing aids, and ensuring all process operations have been completed.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform visual inspection of electronic cards, sub-assemblies, systems, and units to ensure product meets established specifications for reliability and workmanship.
+ Utilize gages, templates, microscopes, and other manufacturing aids to verify product specifications.
+ Ensure all required process operations have been performed on the inspected product.
+ Enter quality data into the appropriate electronic or manual systems.
+ Notify appropriate personnel if unusual product defects are identified or if process yields fall below acceptable levels.
+ Provide timely feedback to manufacturing if non-conforming product is identified.
+ Accurately complete all administrative activities associated with quality inspection.
+ Perform process audits and assist manufacturing with the interpretation of quality and workmanship standards.
+ Assist with the disposition of all non-conforming materials and products.
**Essential Skills**
+ Functional skills in quality control and inspection processes.
+ Basic functional process knowledge and participation in process improvement.
+ Awareness of inspection techniques.
+ Understanding of inspection standards and requirements.
+ Experience with tools such as electronic assembly, color code, component, schematics, touch-up, commercial soldering, mechanical assembly, surface mount assembly, point to point wiring, bare board inspection, loaded component inspection, cable/harness inspection, microscope usage, and measuring tools.
+ Proficiency in data entry, spreadsheet use, and manufacturing systems software.
+ Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions.
+ Effective communication skills for presenting information in one-on-one and small group situations.
+ Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
+ Ability to perform operations using weight measurement and distance.
+ Common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
+ Problem-solving skills in standardized situations.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with PCBA, gages, meteorology, SMT, quality assurance, calipers, and visual inspection.
+ Ability to frequently sit, talk, and hear.
+ Occasional standing and walking.
+ Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
+ Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
+ Willingness to work overtime, after hours, and weekends.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00
