THE OPPORTUNITY
Silvus is seeking a **Quality Control Inspector** to report to the Lead Quality Control Inspector on the OQC team. Primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring proper procedures are followed for incoming electronic and mechanical parts and during the manufacturing and testing process.
Additionally, this role is responsible for investigating any quality issues, anomalies, or failures and will work alongside engineering and suppliers to recommend any necessary changes or improvements.
The position is full-time, on-site daily, Monday through Friday. The location for this role is Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of vibrant **West LA.**

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Perform and document inspections of products and processes, including electronic cables, GPS devices, Wi-Fi dongles, connectors, mechanical enclosures, shields, and other critical components.
+ Conduct inspections tied to receiving raw materials, parts, components, and fit checks as necessary.
+ Ability to inspect First Article components and subassemblies.
+ Prepare in-process inspection reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
+ Maintain Quality documentation.
+ Identify the serviceability of parts and components and appropriate tooling.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Minimum 1 year of electronic part inspection experience.
+ Experience utilizing inspection tools (i.e., multi-meters, calipers, micrometers, microscopes).
+ Ability to read basic schematics, specifically those related to PCBs and PWAs.
+ Read and interpret part documentation, including blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc.
+ Proficient with PC and familiar with MS Office.
+ Must have excellent organizational skills, be highly attentive to details, and have the capacity to handle numerous tasks simultaneously.
+ Good and effective oral and written communication.
**NOTE - Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.** **Employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check.**
**PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
+ IPC-J-STD 610, 620 or 001.
+ Capability to adhere to established procedures.
+ Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities frequently.
+ Possessing a talent for evaluating and prioritizing tasks.
**WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
+ Occasional exposure to heat and cold.
+ Lift up to 25 lbs.
+ Walking/Moving in the labs.
