Quality Control Inspector I

Weatherford is hiring a Quality Control Inspector I in our Ortona facility.
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for conducting dimensional and visual inspections of machined parts, raw materials, components, and purchased items in accordance with inspection plans, technical specifications, and engineering drawings. They ensure all work meets high-quality standards and complies with industry regulations. Additionally, they fulfill special customer inspection and dimensional requirements as outlined in Quality Control Plans. The inspector meticulously documents both conforming and nonconforming products to maintain quality assurance and compliance.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
+ Know and understand Weatherford QMS and comply with all requirements of the OEPS, operating and technical procedures, workplace instructions, work orders and purchase orders.
+ Select items/materials/components/products along the manufacturing process and identify the characteristics to be inspected such as dimensions, features, symbols and note specified on the product drawing developed by the Design Engineering group and any documents specified by the customer on the Quality Plan, Inspection Plan and instructions specified on the manufacturing Work Order.
+ Record inspection data, applying quality control procedures.
+ Concrete test cube testing.
+ Issue nonconformance reports in WPTS.
This role require <10% of domestic and international travel.
**Experience & Education**
+ High school technical diploma.
+ 0 - 1 year of experience in the manufacturing industry/quality control.
+ 0 - 1 year of experience with technical English language.
+ 0 - 1 year of experience in data reporting, measurement with calipers, gauges, micrometers, testing and inspection.
+ English language proficiency certificate is nice to have.
+ Good written and verbal communication.
+ Knowledge of the products/materials/components involved in the manufacturing process.
+ Attention to details and analytic skills.
+ Read and interpret Engineering drawings, specifications and instructions.
+ Hand/eye coordination.
+ Advanced computer skills.
+ Good math skills.
