We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas. **Position Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Inspector - Level 2 with a background in quality inspection process to join our team at Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America (PECNA). As a Quality Inspector, you will report to the Quality Supervisor and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper day-to-day execution of quality objectives, enhance product quality, and contribute to the success of the world's largest lithium-ion battery initiative. The Quality Inspector – Level 2 will work together with the Operations, Engineering and Maintenance in resolving bugs, defects, and other potential issues and ensuring that products meet customer specifications. **Essential Duties:** + Perform required inspection as required by Control Plan and SOP’s. + Support proper implementation of quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and maintenance, to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner. + Support in analysis of quality data and performance metrics to identify trends and countermeasures. + Ensure adherence to quality, general plant and PECNA policies and procedures. + Ensure area cleanliness and 6S standards are met. + Support hands-on training of new inspectors + Operate independently to conduct inspections, analyze results, and make decisions within established guidelines and procedures. + Own and oversee the overall quality assurance process within the area of responsibility. + Ability to train others at same or lower level within functional area. **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:** + To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees’, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.
