Quality Control Inspector - Receiving Inspection

As a Quality Control Inspector II within our Receiving Inspection department, you'll be using your skills and expertise to ensure that our incoming parts fulfill all quality requirements. You'll be responsible for visually inspecting our materials, parts, and products at different stages of production, as well as recording observations and making recommendations for improving processes. You'll inspect for structural flaws, internal defects, documentation errors, and accept, reject, or request rework of defective or malfunctioning units or systems. You'll apply our quality standards for receiving inspection. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber. **Responsibilities:** + Inspection of all incoming product. + Capture of inspection results. + Capture of discrepancies. + Prioritizing and organizing the product pending inspection to support current program demands. **Qualifications You Must Have:** + High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience + Higher education may substitute for relevant experience + Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education + Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and drawings + Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance + Experience with finished goods inspection + Experience with Costpoint and/or AEGIS-MES + Basic understanding of material flow in operations + Ability to draft work instructions and SOP's + Experience with Network+, Security+, CCNA and/or A+ Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS 9100 standards **Preferred Skills:** + Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) such as ROMER or FARO. + Experience with CMM software such as PC-DMIS or PolyWorks. + Experience with composites, machining, or aerospace hardware. + Experience with FAA regulations. + Experience with Control of Non-Conforming Product processes/procedures. + Any IPC certifications. Estimated Starting Salary Range: $19.95 - $27.44. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
