**QC Lab Technician (GC)** **Princeton, NJ (US)** **Onsite** As a QC Lab Technician (GC), you will be responsible for providing technical direction for a defined portion of the production process. Shares responsibility for the department performance in the areas of safety, health, environment, quality, and production. Provides technical support for other areas as needed. Equal access to opportunities is a given, belonging is a shared feeling, authenticity is celebrated. **Your key responsibilities** + Independently perform a variety of laboratory analyses with a focus on gas chromatography (GC). + Prepare analytical reagents, mobile phases, and calibration standards. + Operate and monitor analytical equipment, including HPLC, GC, ICP, and others as required. + Analyzes raw materials, intermediates, and finished products for required tests by various analytical and instrumental methods. + Utilize Chromeleon software for data acquisition, processing, and reporting. + Execute accurate calculations and compile data for further evaluation and interpretation. + Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain GC/MS systems, including associated software. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support laboratory operations and project timelines. + Method development and GCMS knowledge. + Participate in non-conformance investigations and lead or support root cause analysis efforts. + Available to work occasional weekends to meet project deadlines or urgent needs. + Other duties as assigned by leadership. **We bring:** + A space to grow by encouraging and supporting curiosity and an open mindset. + A culture that prioritizes safety and well-being, both physically and mentally. + Barrier-free communities within our organization where every employee is equally valued and respected – regardless of their background, beliefs, or identity. + A firm belief that collaborating with our customers is the key to achieving great things. **You bring:** + Bachelor’s degree in in Chemistry, Food Science or Scientific discipline preferred, associate’s degree required. + GC/ GCMS experience required. + 3-5 years of lab experience in a GMP environment + Broad understanding of safety, laboratory hygiene and GMP rules. dsm-firmenich is fully dedicated to inclusion because when people feel engaged and empowered, their creativity and innovation drives unprecedented progress.
