Job Description
We have three ongoing projects at Mechanicsburg NSA, including mechanical upgrades to two of the three buildings, small site work, and finishes to all three buildings. One of the key projects involves a significant renovation and upgrade to an existing elevator system. As a Quality Control Manager, you will oversee these projects and ensure compliance with all quality and safety standards.
ResponsibilitiesInspect construction work to ensure adherence to construction drawings and specifications.Oversee and manage construction projects at Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg.Ensure compliance with federal construction standards and OSHA regulations.Coordinate with the Superintendent/SSHO to manage site safety and quality control.Provide detailed reports on project progress and quality assurance measures.Essential Skills5-8 years of previous federal construction experience.Strong mechanical experienceConstruction inspection and drawing interpretation.Knowledge of federal construction standards.OSHA30 certification.Army Corps of Engineers Quality Control Manager (QCM) certification.Additional Skills & QualificationsEM385-1-1 certification is a plus.Experience with USACE projects.Site safety management.Work Environment
Work will be performed on-site at NSA Mechanicsburg, alongside a Quality Control Manager and Project Manager. You will be part of a well-established General Contractor team with a large pipeline of upcoming work. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and quality, with a focus on building a strong team for future projects. Must have citizenship
