Based in Oakland, NJ, The Quality Control Material Handler will be responsible for scanning then moving materials & verifying inventory. They will also be performing basic inspection of incoming materials according to specs & assisting in day-to-day tasks to fulfill work priorities accordingly.
Core Job Duties:
Responsible for inspection and handling of incoming materials and in process/finished product inspection, as part of Quality Assurance team.Handle and perform inspections on materials and products, processes, or components for conformance to specifications. This includes first article, incoming materials, in-process and final inspection.Record results on inspection forms and provide report to Quality Control ManagerProcess Customer return (RMA) documentation and material depositions.Maintain clean and orderly work area.Perform and support other related tasks as required.Education & Experience:
High School Diploma (GED) or higher degree in related disciplineKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Basic knowledge of measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer.Ability to lift loads of up to 50 lbs.Ability to work independently and self-motivated.Ability to work smart in a fast-paced environment and in a team environment.Ability to think proactively and plan and execute resourcefully.MS Office proficiencyMinimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
