Brook Street Recruitment is working with our client in Derry/ Londonderry to recruit a new permanent Manufacturing Pallet Release Inspector
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS JOB IS NOT REMOTE - ITS BASED ON SITE AND LOCATED IN DERRY/ LONDONDERRY IN NORTHERN IRELAND
The primary responsibility of the Manufacturing Pallet Release Inspector is to ensure that finished goods are pallet
released for shipment to customers in accordance with the company Quality Policy of "Right First Time Delivered on Time Every Time".
The Quality Control Manufacturing & Pallet Release Inspector shall assist with continuous improvement in Manufacturing towards World Class standards and quality performance.
Responsibilities
Ensure that safe working practices are always adhered to, including wearing PPE as appropriate.
Acquire knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, work instructions, and associated documentation.
Comply with all Health & Safety Policies and instructions and actively contribute to Company efforts to promote safe behaviour and safe systems of work.
Perform random in-process inspection across manufacturing processes
Perform First Piece approval where required
Perform Pallet Release
Raising QN Alerts/ Holds (Z3 and Z2)
Labelling of suspect product
Carry out Particle testing in clean room.
Supports traceability activities when required
Manage product containment activities (with activity support from SQL & Manufacturing)
Retrieving and replacing retain samples as required by Quality/Manufacturing/Process Engineering
Any other quality-related duties as advised by Shift Quality Lead (SQL)
Essential Criteria:
Academic qualifications in Maths & English.
Previous manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of production, quality and hygiene systems.
Working hours are 42 per week on a 24/7 shift pattern 07:00-19:00 & 19:00 - 07:00 on a rotation of 2 weeks of days & 2 weeks of nights. Role comes with 30% shift premium
