Quality Control Senior Technician
Overview Are you an experienced Quality Control Senior Technician looking for your next career opportunity? If so, this temporary opportunity on our team in Little Island could be the one for you. Responsibilities Role Responsibilities: Ensure the accurate and timely sensory analysis of ingredients and manufactured products in accordance with PepsiCo standards and procedures Prepare samples for sensory analysis and organise sensory panels Registering QC samples in the laboratory management systems accurately Meticulous attention to sample data entry and preparation Prepare all production, delivery and issue samples in a timely manner Ensure timely and effective issue resolution and communication Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as required. Maintain all relevant records and samples in an organised system for quick and effective access to information with a particular focus on trace-ability Organise the replenishment of relevant laboratory supplies Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with sensory panels Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with process operators A requirement of this role is that all PepsiCo Health and Safety requirements are adhered to. Qualifications Essential skills: BSc in food science or equivalent Desired skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to positively influence others and lead teams. Good troubleshooting skills. Ability to manage a varied workload. Ability to work on own initiative, self-motivated.
