**Quality Control Superintendent** **,** **Nairn Centre** **,** **ON** Join Interfor’s dynamic Nairn Centre team, where you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in product quality, grade recovery, and lumber optimization. You’ll receive a competitive benefits package including: + Short Term Incentive Plan Bonus + Paid vacation + RRSP Matching + Employee Share Purchase Program Matching + Employer-paid medical and dental benefits **What You’ll Do** + Oversee all aspects of the mill’s quality control programs and performance. + Maximize lumber grade and recovery using optimization systems and analytics. + Lead and coach QC staff, providing training and feedback to improve quality standards. + Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues. + Define and execute strategic initiatives to enhance product quality and consistency. **What You Offer** + At least 5 years of experience in sawmill, planer, or lumber QC operations. + Proficient in lumber grading rules and optimization technologies. + Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. + Skilled in quality troubleshooting, data analysis, and performance coaching. + Post-secondary education and a valid Lumber Grading Ticket are assets. **Who We Are** At Interfor, our culture is built on integrity, respect, and collaboration.
