What you’ll do as a Quality Control Supervisor + Initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation + Insure cable system, vaults, pedestals, asphalt and concrete patching are done per specifications + Fill out Quality Control forms and upload in job tracker/job docs + Delegate work to crew when repairs are necessary + Re-inspect repairs per client's requirements + Must have at least 5 years of experience in CATV work + Some computer skills required including some knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint What you’ll need + To be 18 years of age or older + Authorization to work in the United States for this company + Possess a valid driver’s license (class \"C\" minimum) or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position (possibly class \"B\" - light commercial). + Provide verifiable evidence of experience in CATV construction field and prior supervisory experience in construction or related field. + Preferred candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. + Must have strong project management skills. + Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions. + Able to perform the physical tasks required in this position for the entire assigned shift. Physical abilities & exposures + Routinely: Standing - 6 to 8 hours daily. Walking - 4 to 6 hours daily. Climbing - 0 to 2 hours daily. Driving - 0-4 hours daily. Bending/Twisting - 0 to 2 hours daily. Pushing/Pulling - 0 to 2 hours daily. Repetitive Motion (grasping, manipulation) - 0 to 2 hours daily. + Occasionally: Lifting (weights up to 100 lbs.) - rarely. Lift & Carry (weights of 50 to 60 lbs.) – occasionally.
