​​Quality Control Supervisor​ Job Number: 355716 Category: Quality Engineering Description: Job Title: ​​Quality Control Supervisor​ Location: Austin, TX Zip Code: 78738 Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Direct Hire Pay Rate: ​​$75k-$95k​ annually DoE Schedule: 1st shift, 100% onsite Keywords: #QualityEngineer #​​QualityControlSupervisor​Jobs #TXjobs JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Supervise a team of quality control inspectors across receiving, in-process, and final inspection. * Determine and distribute assignments, responsibilities, and priorities for quality control personnel. * Perform assessment of employee performance and execution of tasks, including adherence to applicable industry standards and engineering documentation. * Generate and train on inspection criteria, work instructions, and quality documentation for overall product quality. * Support material review board (MRB) and serve as escalation path for nonconformance dispositioning. * Monitor and analyze nonconformance data and drive achievement of metric goals. * Drive root cause and corrective action for systemic issues and other quality investigations. * Train and mentor employees on company processes and procedures including use of supporting systems. * Communicate across disciplines (manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, etc.) to enable daily operations. * Perform regular audits of departments and production areas for applicable procedures and requirements including FOD and ESD control. * Identify and implement areas for process improvement. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * US Citizenship required * Bachelor's degree required, engineering or related degree preferred. High School Diploma required. * Aerospace/electronics manufacturing background * Must have background in electronics manufacturing with root cause manufacturing. * Ability to resolve issues without being advised.
