Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications.

Quality Control is responsible for the analysis or inspection of materials, components, products or processes for compliance with specifications and standards.

Shift Details

6:00 pm to 6:00 am Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + every other Saturday


Job Summary

The Tech II, Quality Control performs varied product inspections or analysis generally of finished goods components, incoming materials or new products, by observing, measuring and recording data using applicable measurement tools. Compiles and inputs data, documents and process findings and interprets results. Completes applicable documents needed for the release of product to the field. This job follows demonstrates knowledge of testing methods, product usage, and applicable procedures according to regulations, and standards and adheres to established policies and procedures but also participates in the establishment of future inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

Review Finished Goods, Thin Wall and FG computer generated labels for respective areas per QSP 7.5.5-01 (Label Control)Release of Interplant Transfer components.Complete rejection activities for non-conforming product according to quality specifications.Support Protech program with audits, coaching, and guidance to ensure complete and accurate inspections and records.Conducts assigned audits and work with production on appropriate action.Provides support for inspection activities including those using a computerized data collection system.Complete and support protocol activities on the production floor.Facilitates and/or participates in team activities that support quality initiatives.Assists in investigations involving quality as directed by Quality Management.Support the quality department as assigned.Enter appropriate data in daily communication form.Knowledge of Risk Assessment techniques and methods (FMEA) in addressing CAPA, Projects, Validations, etc.Maintain consistent presence on production floor.Any and all other tasks asked by supervisor to be completedKnowledge of GMPs and plant applications of the quality system.Knowledge of the QA function for inspection and disposition of product.Knowledge of computer applications including Infinity, Excel, Word, Access, Outlook and SmartSolve.Be able to effectively conduct training including proficiency in Protech Certifications.Possess or be able to develop a working knowledge of the Internal Audit process.Math and reading ability at grade level 10 or equivalentMust have basic understanding of Sampling Techniques and Standards


Qualifications

1-2 years of experience, preferred.High school degree or GED, preferred.1 year experience in the quality system, procedures and methods, preferred.Read, write and communicate effectively in English.Visual acuity & physical capability to perform job duties.Math skills to effectively complete job function

Anticipated hourly range: $15.40 per hour - $28.70 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential)
