Overview

The Quality Technician works with quality personnel, operations, and maintenance employees to document processes. The position collaborates with the Quality Supervisor to implement and maintain Quality Management System documentation. This role participates in the development and use of training materials and QMS audits.

What you will do:

Place safety first in everything you doDevelops process documentation consistent with QMS requirementsProvides training and associated materialsParticipates in product and process auditsConducts continual improvement activitiesSupports product and process development activitiesProvides technical support to engineers and operations personnel to ensure production and quality goals of the facility are metSupports and inputs related to the evaluation of equipment, process and material modificationsLeads and directs the work of others

What you will need:

Preferably one year experience in manufacturing settingHS Diploma or GED preferredAble to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree preferred (or associate degree plus 4 years practical experience)Minimum of 5 years of experience and understanding of a quality production environmentSix Sigma or Lean GB certification highly desired or ability to attain within 1 yearCertified Quality Auditor certification from ASQ highly desired or ability to obtain within one year
