**Job Title: Quality Control Technician** **Job Description** The company designs and manufactures high-quality heaters and thermal systems for use in medical devices, aerospace, and other applications. We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate special test instruments and equipment to ensure product quality. **Responsibilities** + Operate special test instruments and equipment. + Perform Hypot/Dielectric tests using a Hypot meter. + Conduct resistance tests using a multi-meter. + Carry out immersed water testing. + Perform dimensional tests using steel rulers, micrometers, verniers, calipers, radius gauges, and pin gauges. **Essential Skills** + Experience with electrical properties and measurements (Resistance, Ohms, Watts, Amps, Multi-meter, Dielectric Strength, Hypot meter, Caliper, Verniers, Fahrenheit, Celsius). + Proficiency in measurements including inches, millimeters, fractions, decimal points, and conversion factors. + Ability to read schematics, drawings, and blueprints. + Experience with micrometers, blueprints, assembly, visual inspections, quality checks, manufacturing quality, and production. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Attention to detail. + Ability to perform inspections using visual and mechanical test equipment. + Strong communication proficiency. + Results-driven mindset. + Technical capacity. + Thoroughness and detail-oriented approach. + Effective time management skills. **Why Work Here?** We offer the potential to grow a career within the organization. Shifts are available Monday through Friday, with 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm and 2nd shift from 12pm to 8pm. Overtime is available. The work environment is bilingual. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Lyme, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
