Our client, a food manufacturer in Bakersfield, CA is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that their products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, performing data collection, and adhering to established quality control processes.

Duties

Conduct quality inspections of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.Utilize various tools and equipment, including micrometers and vision inspection systems, to assess product quality.Collect and analyze data related to product performance and quality metrics.Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and results in accordance with FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards.Implement quality control procedures in line with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines.Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.Assist in the development and refinement of quality control protocols.

Qualifications

Experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in beverage production.Knowledge of GMPs, and food safety standards.Proficiency in laboratory techniques and analytical equipment operation.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and report data effectively.Experience using Calypso software for measurement analysis is preferred but not required.
