Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Job Description

Responsible for ensuring that production staff are following GMP requirements. Calibrating instruments such as viscosity meters, pH meters, and brix meters. Conducting pH titrations, viscosity, and physical testing on products. Assisting with wet chemistry testing. Calling production holds when products are out of specification (OOS). Following HACCP programs.

This site produces essential oils, mouth washes (with a very minty smell), and other OTC products that are dietary supplements. Cosmetic manufacturing will soon be brought in-house. The role reports directly to the QC Manager. The team includes 2 QC Technicians in Compounding and 2 QC Technicians performing testing on the production floor. Responsible for 3 production lines. The facility is expanding to 2 shifts, with current overlapping shifts covering 4am - 7pm. Initial training for 2-3 weeks will involve 8-hour shifts from 9am – 5:30pm, then transitioning to 4am – 12:30pm. Full 12-hour shifts may be offered based on performance. The facility works with sesame oil in some products, but not daily.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $47840.00/yr.

Medical, dental and vision is paid 80% of employee only – not for dependent. It would be paid 100% by the employee for dependents
They have 3 kaiser plans and 3 anthem plans and they can choose from (1 PPO and 2 HMOs each)
