Job Description
Support manufacturing and other supply chain functions to ensure production outputs meet or exceed requirements and demands (quality, quantity, timeliness). Perform quality control incoming, in-process, and final inspections following written procedures. Initiate Nonconforming material reports as warranted. Create and maintain detailed quality records including lot history records, inspection records, Nonconforming material reports, Purchase Specifications, Quality Inspection Plans, etc. Segregate, label, and control nonconforming product. Perform quality review of manufacturing lot history records. Ensure that Quality records documenting QC activities are compliant with applicable standards and Procedures. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) according to established procedures. May conduct some job tasks in a controlled environment room.
ResponsibilitiesSupport manufacturing and supply chain functions.Perform quality control inspections (incoming, in-process, final).Initiate Nonconforming material reports as needed.Create and maintain detailed quality records.Segregate, label, and control nonconforming products.Review manufacturing lot history records.Ensure compliance with applicable standards and procedures.Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Conduct tasks in a controlled environment room when necessary.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma minimum.Competency in using general mechanical inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gages, etc.).High attention to detail.Understanding of manufacturing/production documentation.Knowledge and experience with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and processes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust be able to wear personal protective equipment (latex or nitrile gloves, safety glasses/face shields, clean room attire, etc.).Ability to work on a PC, including repetitive use of a keyboard and mouse for long periods.Experience with assembly, catheter, hand tools, work instructions, and hand dexterity in a manufacturing industry.Experience with inspection, production, medical device assembly, injection molding, extrusion, and kitting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
