Quality Control Technician

Position Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Lamia - Greece

Position Overview:

The Quality Control Technician participates in the daily activities of the Quality Control Laboratory. He/she contributes to quality awareness and ensures that quality control is monitored. He supports production to ensure that the quality processes are up to date and that good practices are respected. He is the partial back up for the Quality Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinates the day-to-day activities of the Quality Control Laboratory.Maintains the Quality Control Laboratory by 5S principles.Ensures that the production operators required to carry out internal controls are properly trained and skilledCoordinates the quality control of raw materials received: their reception control, the analysis of blocked stocks, and the initiation of supplier non-conformities.It is in charge of quality control of finished products: their control, analysis, and management of non-compliant products.Leads the process of analysis and processing of non-compliant stocksEstablishes and maintains the process of non-conformance analysis, from their initial registration to the final management of the non-conforming product.Participates in the quality management system.Conducts internal audits.Participate in external ISO or customer audits.Participate in customer complaint investigation and Cause Map.Ensures that all safety protocols are followed and that proper follow-up is maintainedSupport Quality Manager on Quality Culture deployment: run training, support in communicationPartially back-up of the Quality Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

Degree in chemistry and previous experience in Quality Fields.Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.Excellent organization, methodological, stress-resistant and prioritization skills.Written and verbal communication skills in English), and German.Computer skills SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.Excellent people skills.Ability to work without supervision, to motivate a team and to make decisions.

Preferred Requirements:

2+ years of experience in Quality in manufacturing.Qualified Quality Auditor / Experience is an advantage.

Physical Environment:

This position is operating in a mixed environment of office and factory in function of needs.This position will work in a flexible time schedule assuring presence while production is busy.
