JOB TITLE: QC Technician - CSA LOCATION: Sunnyvale, CA iParametrics is partnering with a premier construction firm specializing in Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) projects. Our client, renowned for its excellence in delivering complex construction projects, is seeking a dedicated CSA QC Technician to ensure the highest quality standards across their projects. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and compliance of CSA-related work. JOB DESCRIPTION The CSA QC Technician will be responsible for overseeing quality control activities related to Civil, Structural, and Architectural components of construction projects. This role involves inspecting materials and workmanship, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards, and collaborating with project teams to address quality issues. RESPONSIBILITIES + Conduct inspections and tests on civil, structural, and architectural components to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. + Review construction drawings, specifications, and design documents to understand quality requirements. + Document and report quality control findings, including non-conformance issues and corrective actions. + Collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address and resolve quality-related issues. + Perform routine and special inspections of materials, work processes, and finished products. + Ensure that all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and regulations. + Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken. + Participate in quality control meetings and provide input on quality improvement initiatives. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS + Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., construction technology, civil engineering, architecture). + Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in quality control within construction projects, with a focus on CSA components. + Strong understanding of civil, structural, and architectural design principles and standards. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word. + Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS + Certification in Quality Control or related field (e.g., Certified Quality Technician, Construction Quality Assurance). + Experience with construction quality management software. + Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for civil, structural, and architectural work.
