Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified Quality Coordinator in Somerset, NJ. This role will assist Clinical Nurse Managers with ensuring that quality care is delivered to all patients within the Medical Groups practice in accordance with the philosophy, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:

Current Certified Medical AssistantCurrent BLS certificationMust possess a valid NJ Driver s License and dependable transportationDaily travel throughout the state of New Jersey, covering RWJBH Medical Group Service Areas

Certifications and Licenses Required:

CMA CertificationBLS Certification from AHA

Scheduling Requirements:

Day Shift, 40 hours/weekFull-Time Schedule

Essential Functions:

Utilizes principles of continuous quality improvement in all work situations to assess measure and improve organizational and department functionsCreates teaching material to support Organizational needsAssist in the communication and coordination of clinical services initiativesAssist in EMR chart reviews with medical assistants to identify potential errors in chartingCollaborates with other departments to create and maintain safe and efficient practice workflowsCreates teaching material to support Organizational needsPlays a critical role in on-board training of new clinical staffWill perform clinical skills competencies for all clinical staffMaintain electronic medical record EMR proficiencyConduct Occupation Safety and Health Administration OSHA training for staff
