Quality Coordinator
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Coordinator to join our team. You will ensure that quality standards at the project site are met. This role involves providing technical support, working independently and collaborating closely with operations staff. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. This role does require the flexibility for travel up to 100% of the time throughout the U.S.

Essential Responsibilities

Implement and maintain quality systems and procedures as per project specificationsDevelop and improve quality inspection methodsMonitor construction activities to ensure they comply with contract documents, design specifications, and applicable codesEnsure accurate completion of Quality Records and initiate non-conformance processes when necessaryPerform documentation of quality assurance activities, including inspections, test plans, and reporting. Monitor and control related costsParticipate in the development of Ledcor’s quality program and advise on project quality plansEngage in the change management process to improve products, services, and supportServe as a point of contact for quality-related inquiries and provide guidance and training to project teamsCoordinate all QA/QC activities with site managers and procurement teamsIdentify, document, and communicate quality issues or deviations, and coordinate the resolution of non-conformances, tracking corrective actions

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years quality assurance/control, preferably in the Construction industryFamiliarity with construction codes, standards, and inspection techniquesISO 9001 certification would be preferred but not requiredStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.Strong working knowledge of construction materials, methods and practicesKnowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations

This is a site-based position anExposure to varying weather conditions and construction environments
