Summary/Objective The Quality Coordinator’s responsibility is to review work orders and to prevent inaccurate and incomplete product from being shipped from the facility. Product inspections (Incoming, in-process, returns) Supplier product quality (Inspections and release, nonconformances and corrective actions) Conduct process audits, assign action items and monitor progress, as needed. Facilitate problem solving activities with cross-functional teams, as needed. Data mining utilizing excel, PowerPoint presentation and Power BI Reporting and meeting facilitation Cross-functional projects Calibration management assistance Assist with customer complaint management, investigations and root cause as needed. Identify opportunities for process, product and cost/efficiency improvements, communicate and facilitate as needed Engage in a positive manner with team members from all disciplines to ensure common goals are being met (production, material handling, lean manufacturing, safety, maintenance, shipping/receiving, etc.) Be prepared to work overtime hours as necessary, including Saturdays, in order to complete production schedules in a timely manner. Provide adequate care and maintenance of all equipment and resources used, including performing required calibrations and preventive maintenance where necessary. Supervisory Responsibility This is a supervisory role & will have direct reports. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time hourly position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and the Quality Manager. Travel Travel will be minimal and would be primarily local during the business day. Required Education and Experience High school diploma Must be able to work closely with others to solve problems and follow-through on solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. The ability to collaborate with large teams in fast-paced, high-stress situations is required. Must be able to effectively lead a team through daily activities, with unwavering adherence to the company’s core values. Proficient with MSOFFICE (Excel, PP, Word), AX, Enovia, Tableau, NAV Proficient verbal and written communication. Including public speaking. Leadership Development Preferred Education and Experience Previous quality management experience preferred, willing to train the right candidate. College degree is preferred Additional Eligibility Qualifications Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required. Proven quality assurance and auditing experience in a similar industry preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills preferred.
