**Quality Documentation Coord** **Location:** Larkin Bldg @ Exchange Street Location of Job: US:NY:Buffalo Work Type: Full-Time **Shift:** Shift 1 Job Description **Summary:** Responsible for ensuring the overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation and charge capture. Facilitates modifications to clinical documentation through concurrent interaction with physicians, nursing staff, Health Information coding and other patient caregivers to support appropriate charge capture and clinical severity for the level of service rendered to all patients. Supports timely, accurate and complete documentation of clinical information used for measuring and reporting physician and Hospital outcomes. Educates all members of the patient care team on an ongoing basis. **Education And Credentials** **Responsibilities:** Bachelor’s degree in a health related profession. For Behavioral Health: Masters level or higher training (degree) in a behavioral health field plus 2 years experience in outpatient behavioral health direct service required. **Experience** **Other information:** 5 years recent clinical experience in a hospital setting, or 4 years recent clinical experience and two years ICD-9 Coding experience (optional). Utilization Review or coding experience preferred.
