Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all Quality, Environment and Health & Safety matters ensuring that the site complies with all obligations, operates in a safe manner, with a safe environment for all and that we meet the needs of our customers.
Carry out and/or organize relevant employee training programs. Assist with investigations and root cause analysis to resolve any quality issues, complaints and non-conformances in accordance to NCR procedure, liaising with customers as required. Keep up to date with changes in law & legislation regarding quality, hygiene, environmental, health & safety Enforce the requirements of our Health & Safety policy and systems in place Manage HACCP and Risk Assessment systems Oversee the company’s Health & Safety meetings and coordinate corrective actions required Follow corporate/inter-company Health & Safety requirements and reporting activities Promote a continuous improvement culture Work in the manner and with the relevant protective devices, measures and procedures that are required by the Health & Safety at Work Act and those stated within company policy. Uses and/or wears protective devices or clothing that the employer requires to be used or worn. Manage KPI’s and present them to the business on the management meetings. Knowledge of Word, Excel and Access. Must have firm understanding of test procedures, statistics and process controls. Knowledge of bag machinery a plus. Must have strong problem solving and analytical ability. Experience with food packaging regulations especially GFSI/SQF. \nBenefits
