Individual will provide leadership in the day-to-day activities for all production employees within the facility and partner with the production supervisors and maintenance to solve problems and improve quality. Manage customer complaint actions, returns, calibration of all gauges, maintain the test lab for 5S and test records, and both LPAs and Internal Audits. This individual should comply with all Stryten Energy quality standards.
Responsibilities Provide day to day quality direction and support to manufacturing and quality assurance in the form of plans, procedures, and guidance.Be available to work flexible shifts to ensure support for all shifts as needed.Daily monitoring of incoming products to ensure proper storage and FIFO is used.Maintain the QSD for data collection – scrap, rework, customer complaints, Lithium product tracking by serial number.Responsible for calibration of all gauges, as well as maintaining those gauges (keeping in good working order).Work with engineering to keep accurate work instructions available to all site employees. Create a report that will be useful to determine where issues are occurring and assist in the corrective action of these issues.Monitor operator and quality control plan compliance daily.Document Control.Internal Audit Management.LPA Audit Management.Responsible for Hold Tag management – reporting of status and monitoring that product is dispositioned within the guidelines of Stryten procedures.Manage the supplied part and internal part periodic sampling plan. Maintain records for proof of analysis and disposition.Verify and manage Operator performance to control plan sampling, testing techniques, and communicate with production on their performance.Work with the team on problem solving initiatives and link actions and outcomes to Control Plans, PFMEA’s, plant inspection points, and Customer returns.Manage and communicate any changes or replacement of work instructions.Other duties as assigned.Work within established policies, procedures, practices, and regulations.Coaching and developing employees for future opportunity and to assure accountability and adherence to established policies and procedures. QualificationsEducation, Experience, Certifications:
Minimum of 2-year degree in business, science, engineering, or quality.5-8 years related experience as a quality assurance technician / auditor in a manufacturing plant level, preferably a tier I supplier to the automotive industry.Six Sigma training (Green Belt or Black Belt) desired but not required.

Develops good relationships with coworkers.Good organizational skills.Proficient in problem solving – root cause analysis, 5 why, etc.Must be quality and customer oriented.Familiar / knowledgeable in ISO 9001/14001 quality standards; APQP methodology;Control Plans, FMEAs, and PPAPs.Knowledgeable in Lean tools.Familiarity with Quality Operating Systems.Must be able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment on multiple projects.Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.Strong computer skills -Windows-based programs.
