Quality Engineer 1 – Netherlands - Eindhoven

Our Quality Team in Eindhoven is looking for Quality Engineer on a 6 month fixed term contract, to cover maternity leave, and provide support for quality activities within the Illumina Netherlands location.
This role is full time and based onsite Monday to Friday.

The Role
This role is not your normal desk role, regularly you will be within our distribution warehouse, directly resolving issues with colleagues, whilst maintaining paperwork, providing guidance and support and ensuring compliance and quality guidelines are followed.
Responsibilities include:
Provide quality support and leadership to the Eindhoven site operational departments, peer and junior functions within the EMEA team. Provide quality engineering support throughout the product life cycle. Participate in investigations and ensure findings, risks, recommendations and outcomes are appropriate and are clearly documented and communicated through the required and applicable processes and systems Support local and regional reviews of process performance such as Complaint management, non-conformances, supplier performance and CAPA. Trend, analyze, and report on quality data in order to improve product and process. Working with internal customers in understanding Quality processes and requirements and reporting outward correctly to both internal metrics and customer. Apply experience and knowledge of regulations and standards to manage risks and guide actions independently Develop recommendations based on data analysis Provide management with status updates on assigned responsibilities and goals and escalate issues in a timely fashion.Preferred Educational and Experience Background:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and some related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.What can you expect
