Job Description
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the creation, review, and management of policies, procedures, forms, and work instructions to ensure compliance with international standards, regulatory requirements, and customer flow downs within an aerospace Quality Management System. You will identify, monitor, and report performance and quality metrics, providing data capture, analysis, and presentation support. Additionally, you will serve as a resource on quality and regulatory issues, researching responses for all organizational levels as needed.
ResponsibilitiesMonitor and track non-conformances in materials and products, providing analysis and assistance in obtaining root cause, corrective action, and disposition of non-conforming material.Serve as the primary interface for audit activity throughout the facility, scheduling, guiding, and supporting audit activity including access to required areas.Act as an interface between employees and auditors when necessary, and manage audit activity on a regular basis.Perform and document internal audits including conformance to international standards and Performance Effectiveness Assessments.Maintain supplier quality records and approvals, interfacing with suppliers to address audit activity, non-conformances, and corrective actions.Identify, research, and prepare background information regarding production, operations, and purchasing history to support RCCA investigations, process improvement activities, audits, development projects, and other activities.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering-related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality engineering.Experience with Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and managing non-conformances in materials.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of ISO 9001 standards.Experience in aerospace and electronics manufacturing.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $45.67/hr.
