Quality Engineer
Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Description

Assure the acceptability of products, traceability, and accuracy of documentation. Perform various analytical auditing, inspection, and product support duties. Responsible for new tooling and component inspection, corrective actions, continuous quality improvement, and gauging instruments. Work closely with quality functions and departments to reduce variations in companywide processes and assure quality products meet all customer requirements. Substitute in the absence of the QA Director.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Torrington, Connecticut.

Work Environment

Work involves shop floor experience and willingness to go out on the floor. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and active contribution to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives. The position also involves training other personnel for quality-related tasks and participating in ISO or customer audits.
