Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible to ensure that the Quality Management System is maintained, understood, followed and continuously improved by the organization. 
The Quality Engineer should work to ensure that product quality is in line with stated goals and that adequate actions are taken if product or process deficiencies are identified.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Ensure that the Quality Management system is maintained and continuously improved to ensure that it is effective and efficientPlan and host external audits for ISO certification and audits related to certification or renewal of certificates of products in different markets.  Establish and maintain a risk based internal audit plan and ensure that this is communicated and understood by stakeholders Conduct internal audits in line with agreed audit plan to identify opportunities for process improvementSupport Manufacturing with the resolution of quality matters causing customer dissatisfaction and cost of poor qualityMonitor Costs of Poor Quality and escalate and propose actions when needed Drive improvement and process development initiatives using the Six Sigma DMAIC MethodologyProvide training and support in Quality Owned processes and toolsEnsure that the NC/CAPA process are effective and efficientProvide pro-active support to the organization on systems for Customer Claims, NC/CAPA and document management.Ensure that customer claims are analyzed and communicated to the organization for subsequent resolution

For This Role, You Will Need:

- Master’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline 

- Minimum of five years confirmed experience in engineering/quality in a production environment

- Proven experience from working with improvement of Quality Management Systems

- Internal auditor trained with experience from auditing

- Experience from Lean or 6-sigma training

- Excellent ability in English (spoken as well as written) and preferably in Swedish

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 
•   Strong analytical and communicative skills as the role involves fact-based decision making and interactions with many different stakeholders 
•   Good planning skills.
