Lead and implement Quality Assurance activities to meet the plant metrics goal and Quality Management System. To support Ethics and Compliance, EHS, Human Resource, Delivery, Cost and CORE action plans.
Roles and Responsibilities
(Essential roles, responsibilities and activities a candidate can expect to assume in this position)
Support cells in inspection and gaging issues including inspection plan, equipment and techniques.Perform relentless root cause analysis (RRCA) on product and process non-conformance.Maintain, implement and improve quality control procedures and inspection processes.Perform Preliminary Material Review, conduct trends analysis and publish reports on non-conformance hardware.Participate in internal quality audits to maintain a robust and effective Quality Management System.Conduct Certified Operator and Inspector training.Participate in performance improvement processes through CORE.Lead, educate and instruct shop personnel on Quality procedures and standards compliance.Perform supervisory related activities.Liaise with suppliers and/or customers in quality related matters.Minimum Education required (specific field or equivalent):
Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering.
Minimum years of experience in role:
At least 5 years’ working experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills (if any):
Good working on Quality Management System meeting AS9100 requirements.Competent in MS office applications.Knowledge of Co-Ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), and Non Destructive Testing (NDT) will be added advantages.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Generate quality related reports.Able to work rotating shifts.CORE:
Support the Continuous Improvement programs and CORE Maturity activities within the Company.Minimum CORE Apprentice certification under CORE Certification Program.EH&S:
Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company.Report all incidents (injuries, illnesses, near misses, spills etc.), hazardous conditions, and emergencies to his/her supervisor.Responsible for performing a risk assessment of work activities, taking corrective and preventive actions.Comply with EH&S regulations/policies/programs/rules and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Participate in audits and inspections as and when required.Attend EH&S training programs and takes personal responsibility for safety.Ethics & Compliance:
Understand and carry out work performance in compliance with the RTX Code of Ethics, its Supplements and governing policies and the International Trade Policies and Procedures.Quality:
