Job Title: Quality Engineer
Job Description

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring ISO9000 and IATF standards are being met along with implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance production.

ResponsibilitiesCompletion and submission of PPAP documentationAssurance inspection, measurement, and testing for applicable product linesSupport Quality readiness, implementation, and flawless launch of New ProjectsCoordinate any applicable process issues that pertain to rubber compounds, adhesive coating, moldingDevelopment, implementation, and training in procedure and work instructions pertaining to QualityEssential Skills7+ Years of North American Automotive Quality Engineering experienceSkilled at Automotive Corrective Actions using quality techniques (5Y, 8D, Fishbone)Understanding of PPAP documentation processingProficiency in Quality engineering, Root cause analysis, Automotive, OEM, CAPA, IATF16949, continuous improvement, control plans, process flow, APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, ISO9000, IATFAdditional Skills & QualificationsDemonstrated effectiveness in supplier problem solving managementStrong organizational skillsExperience with rubber, plastic molding, injection molding machine, auditingEducation: B.S or A.S level (open to no education with 7+ years of relevant experience)10+ Years Quality engineer experience within the Automotive industryExperience with rubber or plastic moldingIATF auditing experience a plusWarranty analysis and reporting a plusWork Environment

Manufacturing environment - 100% onsite. M-F | 1st shift (8am - 5pm) - flexible if needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00
