Job Title: Quality Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to maintain our Quality Management System (QMS), create and execute action plans, and implement quality policies. This role involves developing work instructions, ensuring supplier compliance with AS9100 and FAA regulations, conducting internal and external audits, and developing corrective action plans (CAPA). The successful candidate will interface with certification agencies and develop and implement continuous improvement metrics.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain Quality Management System (QMS).Create and execute action plans.Implement quality policies and develop work instructions.Ensure supplier compliance with AS9100 and FAA regulations.Conduct internal and external audits.Develop corrective action plans (CAPA).Maintain AS9100 compliance.Interface with certification agencies.Develop and implement continuous improvement metrics.Essential SkillsExperience with CAPA, quality engineering, and audits.Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO standards.Proficiency in root cause analysis and supplier quality.Understanding of FAA regulations.Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs).Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering.Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality management.Quality auditing experience.Experience implementing and sustaining AS9100 or ISO9001 compliance.Work Environment

The role is based in a small office setting with the support of a large company. The team fosters a family culture with a lot of team activities. The operations manager is committed to developing the individual, offering opportunities for training and growth. The team comprises both contractors and consultants, all treated equally. This position is intended to be renewed year to year.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $105000.00
