Responsible for ensuring quality requirements are met for government contracts. Inspects incoming products purchased for orders, including raw materials, sub-components, and assemblies.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure quality requirements are met for government contracts.Inspect incoming products purchased for orders, including raw materials, sub-components, and assemblies.Contact customer personnel for rejection issues and on-site quality audits.Serve as liaison between customer quality personnel.Comply with all applicable requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS).Assist with quality improvement by establishing methods of data collection or other experimental design techniques.Assist in driving continuous improvement as necessary through the appropriate personnel.Essential SkillsQuality engineeringRoot cause analysisSupplier qualityInspection of incoming productsKnowledge of general quality systems (ISO or AS9100)Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociates Degree in Engineering or B.S. in a Technical fieldPrior quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environmentWork Environment
The physical demands include frequently walking, standing, or sitting, regularly using hands to operate office equipment, handling objects, tools, or controls, talking or hearing, occasionally stooping or kneeling, reaching with arms, and lifting or moving up to 25 lbs. The job requires specific vision abilities, including close vision and distance vision. The work environment occasionally includes working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to hot and cold temperatures, and a moderate noise level.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00
