We are looking for a Quality Engeneer to join our team. Based in the City of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, reporting to the supervisor, you will be responsible for Provide assurance that the product shipped conforms to the customer's functional and specific requirements and ensures the achievement of optimal quality and quality costs for Prestolite. He has the responsibility and authority to fulfill all quality-related activities and the EMS must comply with IATF 16949: 2016, ISO-14000 and ISO 45001
Main Responsibilities:
Coordinate the continuous improvement meeting, follow the line release procedure on all assigned lines, internal corrective action, external corrective action, manage staged audits, statistical process control monitoring.Implementation and monitoring of APQP, implementation of PPAP and monitoring of line related elements (Control Plan, FMEA, visual aids, work instructions, implementation of Poka Yoke and verification monitoring).Internal audits to IATF 16949: 2016, ISO-14000 and ISO 45001, training for production and quality associates, communication with clients, reports, etc.Periodic visits to clients to resolve or follow up on quality problemsWho are we looking for?
University Degree in Industrial Engineering or related fieldMinimum 2 years Supervisory experience, preferably in automotive related industry.Basic understanding of O.E.M. Quality requirements (original equipment manufacturing) and their effect on a manufacturing system.
