Job Title: Quality Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage customer accounts, resolve complex issues, and drive continuous improvement across operations. This role involves developing and managing quality management systems, using Lean/Six Sigma tools to enhance processes, and acting as a subject matter expert for quality system activities. Additionally, the Quality Engineer will lead advanced quality planning processes and act as a liaison for customer quality requirements and satisfaction.

ResponsibilitiesManage key customer accounts and resolve complex issues.Develop procedures and work instructions per the Quality Management System and manage review and approval processes.Act as a subject matter expert for Quality System activities, providing instruction and guidance.Drive continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma tools and techniques.Define improvement goals and establish accountability through SQDRC metrics.Promote safety and housekeeping within the organization.Assemble, analyze, and monitor company and customer metrics to implement quality performance improvements.Lead and mentor advanced quality planning processes such as PPAP, FAI, MSA, FMEA, and SPC.Act as a customer liaison to ensure compliance with customer quality requirements and satisfaction.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer.Background in Hydraulics and Mechanical systems.Inspection capability, including the use of Calipers.Strong problem-solving skills, including Root Cause and Corrective Action.Ability to identify trends and defects using Statistical Process Control.Good communication skills and ability to work with a cross-functional team.Experience in a Manufacturing/Assembly environment.Basic MS Office skills.Work Environment

The Quality Engineer will work in a manufacturing/assembly environment, where they will be expected to promote safety and maintain a clean workspace. The role requires collaboration with various cross-functional teams and the use of standard office software for data analysis and reporting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $41.50
