Purpose and Responsibilities
The Senior DevOps Engineer designs, maintains and develops software delivery capabilities for cloud hosted systems and is primarily focused on supporting the greater team development efforts. He/she/they will work with an established team of .NET and front-end developers to enhance our existing platform, create new platforms, and help drive continued development. The Engineer will see opportunities to work with cross-functional and cross-geographic team members.
This role reports to the AVP of Software Engineering and has no direct reports.
Critical Job Duties:
Create and maintain build and release pipelines in Azure DevOpsAssist in creation and maintenance of DevOps tooling and code deploymentsCollaborate both within the team and cross-functionally, and contribute in group decision-makingAssist and support other team members with build and deployment issues that arise in the development processDevelop knowledge base of software and product to be able to better support when issues ariseTroubleshoot Production & Test issues as needed alongside Development & Quality EngineeringPlan and execute both non-production and production deployments of all components of software stackAssist with monthly DevOps responsibilities (production server patching, monthly reporting, team meetings & reviews, etc)Keep skills up-to-date with current and future DevOps technologies through continued education and self-learning to ensure maximum functionality and efficiencyJob Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position has strong scripting skills and knowledge of deployment & testing pipelines. He/she/they are passionate about crafting delivery solutions while driving towards CI/CD enhancements where appropriate. Said candidate will be curious, adventurous, and someone who constantly looks to advance the current state of our products and the technologies we use.
Qualifications
Experience and demonstrated proficiency in building and deployment of .Net, C#, LINQ, Entity Framework, and Microsoft SQL server applicationsExperience with building hybrid applications for iOS and Android and their associated SDKs and foundational requirementsExperience with build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps preferredExperience with Fastlane preferredFamiliarity with automated testing using Cypress, ReadyAPI, Postman, or Swagger preferredFamiliarity with applications built with Capacitor Experience working as a member of an Agile teamBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a software related discipline or equivalent experience is preferredThe ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving skillsCross-department collaboration skillsCoreLogic's Diversity Commitment:
