Location: Madison, AL
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM (occasional Saturday overtime)
Pay: $21/hour starting rate

Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and ensure compliance with quality standards, policies, and procedures.Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for quality-related issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product and process quality.Perform audits on processes, equipment, and materials to identify potential issues.Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including control plans and inspection procedures.Train team members on quality standards and best practices.Utilize problem-solving techniques such as 8D, FMEA, and SPC to address and resolve quality challenges.Interface with customers and suppliers to ensure expectations are met and maintained.
Required Skills & ExperienceEducation: High school diploma or GED required. An associate's or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred.Experience:Minimum of 2 years in a quality role within a manufacturing environment; automotive industry experience is highly desirable.Proficiency in root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions.Hands-on experience with quality tools and methodologies (8D, FMEA, SPC, APQP).Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (candidates may be required to complete an Excel assessment as part of the hiring process).Familiarity with ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 standards.Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.).Competency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus.Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
